How do I get started?
It's quick and easy to start a 30 day Business Edition trial for yourself and colleagues. You will be asked to provide some basic contact details, set a password, and verify your trial account by email. Once this is done, you'll be able to start using SkyDox to share any file or document.
Can I invite others to join a SkyDox Business Edition trial with me?
Yes, you can invite anyone to join your trial by adding them to your account using the SkyDox Account dashboard. It is always possible to invite others to your files and documents from any SkyDox edition.
Can I try the SkyDox Enterprise Edition?
You can arrange to run an assisted trial or pilot of SkyDox Enterprise by contacting sales@skydox.com.
Can I use SkyDox for free?
Only guests of SkyDox Enterprise or SkyDox Business subscribers can use the platform for free. You can, however, start a free Business Edition trial.
What happens at the end of my 30-day Business Edition trial?
If you're happy with SkyDox, purchase a subscription in the Account dashboard. To find out more about the different SkyDox editions, visit our Product page.
What happens after I register for a Business Edition trial?
SkyDox will send you an email with a link to verify your account. This process helps ensure complete security of your files. Once you receive the email, simply click the link to start using SkyDox.
How secure is SkyDox?
At SkyDox the security of your data is our top priority. SkyDox meets ISO 20071, SAS 70, HIPAA, and FDA data security requirements. For more information, please visit our Security page.
How much storage space will I get?
SkyDox provides 500GB of storage per person with Business Edition subscriptions, and unlimited storage based on your SLA with Enterprise subscriptions. However, if you need additional storage you can always upgrade your account by contacting sales@skydox.com.

Does SkyDox have a meetings feature?
Yes, it is possible to host a meeting from SkyDox. Just click the Meeting button in a file’s Options menu to start. Your audience can then view the document anywhere in the world via the web without downloading any software. Free UK telephone conferencing is also built in.
Is it possible to customize the way SkyDox looks?
Yes, SkyDox can be easily customized with your own logo and wallpaper to create a unique document portal that is branded for your business.
Can I publish my documents via social media sites?
Yes, in only four clicks the owner of a file can publish it to any social media website through SkyDox. Simply navigate to the Sharing menu for the file, tick the Published checkbox, and click the link that is created for all your social media publishing needs!
Can I use SkyDox for presentations?
Yes, it is possible to host a meeting from SkyDox. Just click the Meeting button in a file’s Options menu to start. Your audience can then view the document anywhere in the world via the web without downloading any software. Free UK telephone conferencing is also built in.
Can I control who has access to my shared files and documents?
Yes, you can set permissions and control who can access any of your shared files. Set permissions anytime you share a file. Users can be added or removed – or their permissions can be changed anytime.
Do I need training to use SkyDox?
SkyDox has been designed to be intuitive and can be used without formal training. However, we do provide a support section with quick tips and how-to videos, plus a blog with recent feature updates and tips.
Which document types does SkyDox support?
SkyDox supports all file sizes and all file types. It is easy to upload and store virtually any digital file.
Once files are in SkyDox, you can make and track comments, create discussion groups, and assign access rights. You can also review and manage versions, as well as track how and when guests access your files. SkyDox includes an online viewer for most documents and image-based files also, including Word, PowerPoint, PDF, JPEG, PNG and GIF files.
Does SkyDox work on mobile devices?
Yes, SkyDox works on any web-enabled device, including Apple, BlackBerry, and Android mobile devices.
Does SkyDox work on a Mac?
SkyDox Online works in any Mac browser and SkyDox Desktop is designed for the Mac as well.
Does the website use cookies?
If you check the 'Keep me logged in on this computer' checkbox, SkyDox will use one cookie to remember your user session. No other information is stored.
Does my IT department need to install SkyDox?
No, there is no installation required to use SkyDox online. If you would like to install SkyDox Desktop you will need to have administrator rights on your computer or get help from your IT department.
How much does SkyDox cost?
You can try the SkyDox Business Edition free for 30 days. Once your trial is over, you must subscribe to SkyDox to continue using the Business version. You can also arrange to pilot the SkyDox Enterprise Edition by contacting sales@skydox.com. Your guests and audience never have to install or pay for anything to view and comment on your documents.

How many people can collaborate on one document?
There is no limit to the number of people you can invite to collaborate and work on a document at the same time.
