Presence indicators

Email alerts

• Automated email alerts notify groups who are sharing files of key activity.
• Alerts are sent when a guest accesses a file for the first time, when a new comment is posted, when other users reply to comments, or when users upload a new version of a file.
• SkyDox alerts are intelligent and don’t send un-needed messages if you happen to be viewing the file when the activity is logged, or if you stop following the email links back to the file.

File-centric messaging and commenting

• Real-time, content-specific commenting is stored at a page level so that users reviewing files through a browser or mobile device always post and review comments in context.
• Users may post comments on each version of a file as it evolves and will see other users’ comments immediately as they are posted.
• Comments can be edited or removed by those who posted them, however all comments become part of the file's permanent audit trail.

Location-tagged commenting

• Users can tag comments to a specific part of a document using the location-tagged commenting feature when working online.
• Locations of tags are highlighted with an edit box that can re-sized, moved, or adjusted in order to pinpoint locations.

Personalised activity feeds

• Personalized aactivity feeds keep users informed about comments, versions, and changes to the files owned by them as well as other users’ shared files.
• File-specific activities are presented for each group of users sharing a file.

Web-based meetings

• Online meeting features are easily accessed from within any file, allowing a user to quickly create a free conference call or host an online meeting around the file’s contents without requiring guests to download any software.

Social media publishing

• SkyDox allows approved users to publish documents to social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and StumbleUpon.

• System administrators can upload custom wallpaper and logos to create a branded workspace.
• Unique branding is applied at every level, including guest login screens.
