Compliments from PC World

Written by Holly Mills

When I think of IT, computer, and software magazines today, a key name that comes to mind is PC World. Long known as an established and accurate depiction of the IT industry, PC World has reviewed the markets top players for almost 30 years. With over 1,920,000 unique visitors per month on their website, there is no doubt this is a top-tier publication with IT specialists, authors, and editors. So of course, we were incredibly flattered this week when PC World reviewed our Business Edition, which you can try for free. So what did their analysts think? Pc World

The PC World Review was highly complementary of the SkyDox platform. The review began discussing our simple and “easy-to-use format” that “won't break the bank either.” The team at SkyDox often talks about how user-friendly our platform is, and it was great to find out that PC World agrees: “Getting started is a breeze, and it's easy to understand the purpose behind all of the icons on the page.” The review then goes into detail of our folder structure – how to upload files and how to set access rights for folders – before dipping into discussing our feature-rich collaboration features such as the commenting and co-authoring services. They write that “this is useful if you'd like a team of employees and managers to comment on the same file, but want to keep the comments of management private from those of other users.”

The author then tackles our free guest user policy, and then goes onto discuss details of our online rendering and the full audit changes that are available. From here, she explores our downloadable plug-ins stating that “2007 and 2010 versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint” will “let you save files right to SkyDox from within the application.”

PC World sums up the SkyDox platform perfectly in the closing sentence: “If you're looking for a way to make teamwork more appealing and easier, SkyDox is for you. Although it's packed with features, it's never difficult to use.”

Thanks PC World!
